Hello! My name is Simon and I'm a writer and photographer from Northern Ireland.

Born and bred in the beautiful city of Derry-Londonderry, I now reside in Belfast and Derry.

I specialise in portrait, promotional, family, newborn, gig, event, engagement and wedding photography. I also sell a range of prints exhibiting the sights and landscapes of Ulster and beyond.

For me, photography is often, if not always, about a particular moment. A moment where you stop, look and take in the buzz and beauty around you, and simply think: "Why not?" Before you know it, the camera is out, the image is captured, and the memory is made.

That's exactly how I felt when I took my first professional photograph, and it's how I feel still.

I believe photography can go beyond being efficient, striking and effective. I believe photography should also be spontaneous and instinctive. It should be about the thrill of seeing that one special moment brought to life. Forever remembering the joy, rhythm and feeling of life and living.

In other words: the essence of the subject and the heart of the moment. Both of which transcend the image on its own and create something for the ages.

And both of which I strive to present to you in my work.

It's more than a job: it's an experience, a journey. For both client and photographer.
